Thixotropic Agent

Thixotropic Agent is a high-molecular organic polymer additive. When dosed at suitable proportion, it brings multiple positive effects on wet mortar, like improve workability, anti-slip, anti-sag, prolong open time, improve work efficiency.

• Thickening, anti-sagg and anti-slip

Thixotropic Agent form a three-dimensional network that wraps cement and aggregate particles, increasing mortar plastic viscosity and consistency.

Prevents vertical plaster, masonry mortar and thermal insulation mortar from sliding or sagging on wall surfaces; supports thick coating without dropping.

Reduces segregation and sand bleeding, keeps mortar uniform during pumping, rolling and troweling.

Avoid tile slip down from wet tile adhesives after applied.

• Water retention & prolong open time

Thixotropic Agent  absorb and lock free water inside wet mortar, slowing water evaporation and water absorption by porous substrates (aerated blocks, fired bricks) under high temperature & dry wind.

Guarantees sufficient hydration of cement; avoids surface dusting, rapid dry cracking and insufficient bonding caused by fast water loss.

Prolong open time, suitable for summer exterior wall construction and large-area plastering.

Thixotropic Agent brings mild lubricity to wet mortar, reducing construction resistance during troweling.
